Another peaceful day of vacation. The weather is perfect, although a bit windy. As far as I’m concerned, that is a-ok as it eliminates mosquitoes. I haven’t been well enough to go fishing yet, but others have gone out and caught a few, including a smallmouth bass that was cooked and eaten for supper.
One of our group is very adept at finding all kinds of creatures, including snakes, turtles, and crawdads. I watched an eagle fishing as well, and saw more loons in the distance. It is pleasant to listen to their iconic, mournful cries at night.
